Ask the Car Rental company representative to draw a line on the map for you as follows:
As you exit the airport you come to a roundabout take the 2nd turning off to the "WEST COAST"
Follow this ABC HIGHWAY for about 8 kms … During this time you will traverse “straight through” three (3) roundabouts, #1 "Oistins", #2 "Kendal" (with a "TEXACO" gas station on the left), and then #3 "Top Rock" - in that order.
You then come to yet another roundabout, this one has a STATUE OF GARFIELD SOBERS (Cricket-bat).
Take the 2nd exit. You will see a large office block on your right ("SAGICOR Insurance"), GET INTO THE RIGHT HAND LANE .... immediately, there is a set of traffic lights.
Take the right turn (there is a Shell Gas station on your immediate left and the C&W cricket pitch on your right). Drive about 200 meters to another set of lights ("Cable & Wireless" - Large white building is on your right). Go straight-on at these lights (up a small hill), there are some warehouses on your right. Follow this road about 1½ km (through another set of lights), "CBC–TV"& the "Pine Hill Dairy" are on your right.
Go straight on through at these lights then down a small hill.
You are approaching a round-about (you will see the ‘rear-end’ of the "Emancipation Slave" Statue!!), this is in fact another Round-about - go straight through ………….. we love our round-abouts!!!!!!!
You will see large supermarket on your right "TRI-MART"... you will see STANDARD on your left.
Continue along main highway until another roundabout (the "NORMAN NILES" roundabout)
Go straight through.................ROAD WORKS AHEAD….. Ahead of you is a long straight road (about 3kms) we call this area "The Belle". At the end of this long road is another roundabout - go straight through (The "CLYDE WALCOTT" roundabout)
After about 1½ km - you come to another roundabout – (the "EVERTON WEEKS" roundabout)
As you approach this roundabout, you will see ahead of you (on the left) the Land-Rover/BMW dealer..... Go straight through this round-about ……. (You will then see "Cheffette" on your left) and another roundabout. ("SIMPSON MOTORS" Suzuki on your right)
Go all the way around the roundabout and head along the Highway. (with Simpson Motors on your right)
Travel about 3kms and you come to a set of traffic light ("SHELL" Gas station on your left)
Go straight ahead and follow the road ("Bagatelle Great"house is on your right after about 1km).
From the lights, after about 3kms, you will see a sign on your left for "SANDY LANE" hotel.
DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD.
After another 1½ kms later you come to a roundabout with a church on your left ("St.Thomas Parish" Church), this is the "LAWRENCE JOHNSON" roundabout.
Go all the way around the roundabout at the church, and take the 3rd turning off – this will take you inland.
Drive about 200 metres and there is a "Y" fork in the road.
Take the left turn and follow this road …….. it will pass through a village called Rock Hall.
After about 3 kms –you will see a cricket field on your left.
This road then comes to a "T" junction. Turn left and follow the road about 3kms – keep going
You will go through another village (POREY SPRING Village)
Keep driving and you will see some tall Palm trees on your left .This is it. You have made it! This is DUNSCOMBE PLANTATION
Turn left and you will see the INDIAN OCEAN IMPORTS sign and the main house is a terracotta colour
